Who is this insurance policy for?

The Emergency home repair insurance is available to:

  • pensioners up to the age of 85;
  • individuals aged 60 to 85 who are not pensioners;
  • spouses sharing the same household with the insured.

What is covered by the emergency home repair insurance?

The Emergency home repair insurance provides 24/7 assistance in urgent situations. It covers the services of qualified and certified professionals (labor and transportation costs) within the scope of the insurance protection, up to the amount of 200 euros per insured event. Additionally, the insurance covers: 

  • Costs of small inventory up to 20 euros within the specified amount, 
  • Costs of temporary accommodation and transportation up to 500 euros if you are no longer able to stay at your home due to the damage which occurred. 

Services covered by the insurance include:

  • plumbing services: defects or blockages in water and sewage installations;
  • carpentry services: damage to or malfunction of windows/doors caused by a break-in;
  • locksmith services: loss of keys to your house or apartment;
  • glasswork: repair of damaged glass;
  • masonry and roofing services: repair of damage to walls and roofs;
  • electrical services: repair of electrical installations;
  • heating system repairs: fixing malfunctions in heating systems;
  • air conditioning repairs: damage or malfunctions within the building;
  • cleaning and drying: in the event of water leaks, flooding, or wastewater intrusion into the property.

Note: During one insurance year, the insurance covers services for up to three emergency incidents.

Home assistance and care

Home assistance and care can be stipulated together with the 24/7 emergency home repair insurance. This insurance covers:

  • organization and costs of home assistance and care services following an accident requiring hospitalization for more than 24 hours, or in the case of a bone fracture or a sprain – 4 hours per day, for a maximum of 6 weeks, up to 1,000 euros per insured event;
  • consultations with a psychologist after the accident – available over the phone;
  • organization of a visit to the insured and accommodation costs in Serbia for one relative, in case of hospitalization lasting more than 72 hours due to an accident – up to 3 nights, with a maximum of 600 euros per insured event.
