DDOR osiguranje has once again received prestigious recognition in the field of ESG, awarded by PwC Serbia. In the “ESG Leaders” competition, DDOR was named the best in the “G” category, or “Responsible Governance and Internal Training”, and was among the top three companies in the other two categories it entered.
In his speech upon receiving the award, along with words of gratitude, CEO of DDOR osiguranje, Francesco Masci said:
“I strongly believe that the ESG narrative should actually start from the Governance: first of all, we have set-up the Sustainability Department in order to spur our initiatives; secondly, we have applied the Group Sustainability Policy and Climate Change Strategy; also, both Unipol and DDOR have joined the UN Global Compact. In addition, DDOR has been awarded the ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications. Moreover, at DDOR we have established a fairly balanced governance structure in terms of gender, paired with meritocracy. Lastly, the remuneration policy of the managers has been harmonized with Unipol, by introducing KPIs linked to the achievement of certain ESG targets,” said CEO of the DDOR osiguranje Francesco Masci.
PwC Serbia initiated the “ESG Leaders” competition to recognize and reward organizations and individuals excelling in ESG. DDOR is aware that this is the key to creating value for employees and the wider community. Through integrating the five sustainable development goals of the UN’s Agenda 2030 into its three-year business strategy, DDOR aims to contribute to environmental protection, preservation of natural resources, and societal advancement.
This marks the third ESG related award, reaffirming commitment of DDOR to implementing gold standards of business with an increasingly broader respect for the ESG framework.
