Following the already well-done work on the first day of the Forum, the second was spent in presentations of start-up companies from Serbia as well as large corporations and financial institutions ready to recognize the practical application of innovative solutions in their business processes.
Renzo Giovanni Avesani, CIO of the Unipol Group and CEO of Leithà, participated in one of the panels called “Reverse Pitch” where he spoke about the Group, presented the company’s activities, strategic directions and reflected on the importance of using technology, especially after this year’s extreme weather events that resulted in major damages.
He especially pointed out that for every euro invested in technology, four are returned, at least according to the experience of the Leithà, and invited all representatives of startups to use the opportunity at the Forum to seek strategic partnerships.
Leithà’s vision is to, using agile methodologies, develop advanced applications that efficiently use abundant data. At the same time, it focuses on the optimization of price formation, efficient management of claims, reliable risk assessment, accessibility of services through digital channels and accurate monitoring of weather conditions, convinced that these initiatives will provide an extremely favorable ratio of investment and economic results for all involved in these processes. Leithà’s activities provide support in all strategic ecosystems: Mobility, Welfare and Assets.
After participating in the Reverse Pitch Panel, Mr. Avesani had several B2B sessions with start-up companies from different business domains.
